Health & Safety Information
Diving is an adventurous and exciting sport, but as with most extreme sports it is not without certain risks. Here at Beer Divers we take your safety most seriously, as a result dates and venues for dives may change if conditions dictate diving operations are unsafe.
BEER DIVERS is not a club, but a professional diving school, as such we are obliged to comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, The Diving At Work Regulations 1997 and the Recreational Diving Approved Code Of Practice.
These regulations require us to be registered with the Health & Safety Executive, and as such we can be inspected by the HSE at any time without notice. Our standards are therefore always of the highest level.
This unfortunately is not always the case at some amateur diving clubs, who do not have to comply with Health and Safety legislation.
